Stave Shell Construction
Here we have a finished Stave Shell. The rounding procedures used in this step ensures the surfaces of the drum are perfectly true and concetric. This process is followed by some light sanding of the inner and outer extremities.

Bearing Edge & Snare Beds
The bearing edges are introduced to the top and underside of the drum shell and snare beds milled for strainer assembly.

MockUp
The shell is ready to accept hardware. Here we ensure proper alignment of mounting lugs and snare strainer assembly.

Laquer
Several coats of clear lacquer are applied over the colored wood to produce an eye catching glimmer and provide protection.
